Psyopus - Our Puzzling Encounters Considered

Psyopus es una banda que tiene 2 años existiendo aproximadamente y con su album debut, Our Puzzling Encounters Considered lanzado a través de la disquera Metal Blade ha reinventado el genero del grindcore y la forma de violar una guitarra eléctrica. Antes caracterizandose éste genero por la falta de tecnicidad o dominio de los instrumentos musicales, las técnicas poco ortodóxas de el guitarrista Chris Arp, han logrado llamar la atención de los elitistas que idolatran a íconos como Michael Romeo, Jeff Loomis, y sus contemporáneos. Si quieren saber como se escucharía que tu computadora cobrara vida y te violara, baja este disco YA!

Converge - Jane Doe

Dícen que el album Jane Doe de los bostonianos Converge ha alcanzado ya el grado de disco de culto. Yo, por otra parte, tengo aproximadamente 3 días tratando de digerirlo. Aún no puedo entender que diablos sucede. Sin embargo, en todas las críticas que he leido usualmente obtiene 10/10, 6/5 y así sucesivamente.
Lo más sobresaliente, en mi opinión, es el agudo sentimiento de desesperación y caos que proyecta éste disco que es definitivamente contagioso. Las guitarras son crudas y agresivas, en ocasiónes diría demasiado crudas y agresivas. La voz de Jacob Bannon es muy peculiar, comparable con la de John Tardy de Obituary, en cuestiónes de originalidad.
Creo que las mejores canciónes que he podido comprender hasta ahora son ''The Broken Vow'' y ''Jane Doe''.
Cabe mencionar que, como todo buen disco de grind/hardcore, las canciones duran de 1:30 a 2:00, pero hay excepciónes.
Si ustedes han escuchado hablar de éste disco y no han tenido la oportunidad de escucharlo, descárguenlo y me dicen su opinión, sí?

Cuentos de los hermanos grind - Cantipuercos

En extrañas circunstancias escuche por primera vez a estos vatos colombianos, que aunque no son nada nuevo y como dice su propio myspace y en su musica se nota rapidamente, que sus influencias son asesino y brujeria y que el concepto de distorsionar aquellos cuentos que todos leimos de morritos (Algo asi como con brozo pero con musica grindcore), es una idea chistosona, nos llegan estos vatos con su album cantipuercos, en su myspace esta la bio de la banda leanla pa que se den una idea.
